We promised ourselves we'd go back and we did. This time we stayed longer and had a wonderful time, sightseeing, a trip to the Chateau at Valencay and quite a bit of simply sitting in the sun more

Appletons Farmhouse

I’ve stayed a few of times now. This B&B in peaceful countryside, is a great find as I’m often driving the A20 and it’s the perfect place to break the journey. We stayed at Appleton's for 5 days and we have asolutely nothing to complain about whatsoever. Malcolm, Edward , Leo, and not forgetting Gobi, made us feel so welcome. The room was clean and comfortable, the farmhouse lovingly restored through Malcom's very hard work, the food cooked by Edward was delicious, and the gardens were a delight to sit in... more
