You probably won't see the life lava flow, but you can see how the lava made it's way to the sea years ago. If you want to see current lava flow, you should go there at night or get a heli-tour. more

These are found about 20 miles down the Chain of Craters Road with easily seen sign posts marking the trail that one enters off the road (to the left as you descend towards the ocean).
