My Mum, baby son and I had a lovely stay at Birnam Guest House in September '09. Adrian is a very friendly, helpful host. Stayed here on our way up to Aviemore at the end of october and had a brilliant time. Was only for the one night but we wish it was for longer. Great central location in a lovely period townhouse. Bedroom was spacious and had the comfiest bed. Very clean house too. Hope to be back. more

Just returned from a pleasant five night stay at this delightful little Highland village hotel.Hilary Rennie and her able team of good alrounders seem to have everything covered,the hotel is in the throes of a rolling programme of general refurbishment which does make the " old " parts apparent.Our room was newly updated, with the usual tea/coffee tray, flatscreen TV,... more
