We didn't want some ritzy city-in-the-country hotel - we wanted a week of relaxation. We got it. The hotel was great. Average quality - not 5-star and not 1-star either. Originally we were supposed to have stayed at a different hotel. When we landed at Holguin Airport we found out that we had been moved to Gran Club Santa Lucia due to some renovation work being done at our original hotel.
