We spent 2 weeks in Sept 2008 at the Bucanero, listed as a 3 star property. On completing our holiday we give it close to a 4 star for the following reasons. We booked this hotel using the hotelescubanacan.com website. This is also the company which manages the hotel. When we arrived, the hotel had no record of our reservation, told us the hotel was fully booked, and could not contact Cubanacan head office in Havana to confirm the booking as it was after 5pm!
