The place used to be a simple Chinese restaurant. The renovation looks ok but still needs work on the outside facade. As for the restaurant itself, I agreewith the other reviewers. The service was very slow. I went on a night with 4 other people in my party and we were the only people there, so I dont understand why... more

The food here is outstanding. Has a very "local" atmosphere, not touristy at all. The Mofongo was absolutely delicious. A family member opted for the pizza and it was very, very good. I toured all of puerto rico with local friends and I must say that this place topped it off for me. The food was amazing!!!!! more

Service is too slow!!! I've been there twice and it always takes more than 1hr and 1/2 to get some food on the table. The rolls are good though and there dessert is exquisite. Nice ambience and clean. Prices are high for its location; Mayaguez will never be SJU: so Rest. owners realize this when you price your services!!! My... more
