SCOB is a really wonderful place to stay. We picked it just BECAUSE it is NOT a resort and because the write ups on different sites (including GoStCroix.com) discuss its hominess, openness, beach, and friendly staff. My wife and I stayed 8 days for our 25th anniversary and the Cottages is superb. We first went there for our 20th and it has improved. The beach is the best on the island and snorkeling is wonderful. The Benedict family is extra attentive and all our expectations were exceeded from our first visit. I would recommend this hotel... more
