PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE do not consider this "4 star" hotel AT ALL for your next vacation. My husband and I booked three nights in the Intercontinental Presidente Ixtapa hotel this past December 1, 2009. Previously, we had spent two wonderful nights in a gorgeous, refined and quiet hotel in Acapulco. We arrived in good spirits and ready for some more... more

This was the first time to Ixtapa for my wife and I and we had a great week. We were there the week after Thanksgiving 2009 and we will definitely go back. Online I had reserved a Europcar rental at a good rate but canceled it on arrival after they added a lot of mandatory charges. We ended up not... more

Fabulous location! Julian the General Manager has been extremely accomodating, and can make anything happen for us. The Spa was a very tranquil environment. All the staff are more than willing to meet all your requested needs, which really are none because the hotel goes above and beyond without requests! Highly reccomend for a vacation of solitude. more
