Occidental Allegro Resort

We booked this resort (Allegro)based on the impressive website, showing 4 restaurants and nightly entertainment (among other features). What we actually GOT was one restaurant, 2 open bars and only one show the whole week. The activities area was CLOSED, as was the kids area, and the other 3 restaurants were not open either. I was very statisfied with my stay at the El Cozumeleno from 10-24-09 thru 10-31-009. This was my third trip to Cozumel, but the first time I stayed north of San Miguel. The location right across from the golf course was ideal for peace and relaxation, and the hustle and bustle of San Miguel was only an $8.00 taxi ride... more
