What a wonderful trip! Went to the "Bike Rally" with friends and shared a beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo on the ground floor (108W) at the Sonoran Sea Resort. Black Dog is popular with the local gringo crowd offfering full service bar and full service restaurant. Very causual joint, jeans, tee shirts and plenty of beer. As a US citizen who has traveled Mexico extensively (worked there for 4 years and now visit regularly for pleasure) I know what's what with hotels. Laos Mar is neither a great nor terrible hotel, but it is a good value. Rocky Point (Puerto Penasco) seems to have plenty of super nice resort hotels that come with the high price... more
