Eskimo Museum

The Eskimo Museum in Churchill is a small building stuffed full of cultural artifacts and natural history exhibits relating to the Inuit culture. It also has a small gift shop with nice (not too touristy) souvenirs, clothing, postcards, and books. November 11-14th, 2009. We hit the weather jackpot! Our polar bear experience couldn't have been better. The temps were in the low 20s during the day most of our visit: cold enough that the bears are active, but not too cold for our borrowed parkas & boots. We had overcast skies but no snow.
