When we were checking into the Ramada Inn in Cornwall, Ontario on X-Mas Day 2009 we were expecting a "Bah Humbug I have to work on X-Mas Day" kind of reception at the front desk. The place wasn't even full and the kitchen could not keep up. When spaghetti costs $18, I expect competence. About 45 minutes after the (adequate) salads we were told by the teenage waiter that our main courses wouldn't be much longer.
