I've stayed in Castlegar many times at the Sandman, my wife wanted to finfd a plce a little less expensive and we drove across the street and found the quality inn. I stay at this Super 8 every year. It is always clean & friendly. Parking is convenient, also the grocery store next next door is a plus. The morning b/fast is very ample. The hard boiled are a nice change. i will be back next year again. more
Try another motel in town, or continue driving past this place. We were just passing thru and there was a swim meet in Trail, so several other places we tried were filled up. ONly needed a place to sleep, were in and out of there in 12 hours. Hallway carpets were dirty and smelly. Crumbs, and dirt throughout the hallways:... more
