I've been frequenting the Riverside bar, the walkers' bar, since about 1975. (I preferred it when the outside area was larger!) but have never stayed at the hotel, something I've now put right. Having arrived amid the snow after a 5 hour drive which should have taken 2 hours we were warmly welcomed by Kerry who immediately made us feel at home. Would thoroughly recommend this guest house to anyone travelling in the Keswick, Lake District area. The Hosts were excellent as was the Guest House both in location, comfort and value.
