For my first stay in the area I was very surprised. This was a very friendly and clean hotel. The staff there are very sociable and helpful. I went there for 2 nights and ended up staying for 4.. with an additional bonus of being very ECONOMICAL. more

We have had lunch here twice since moving to Portsmouth. We were very impressed with the standard of food for such a reasonable price. I had a whole trout for my main course after a tasty goat cheese salad. Incredible for only £5! Desserts also very good for an extra £2.50. Adequate choice of around 5 dishes for each course. more

I booked a suite room at The Florence Hotel as I was impressed with their beautiful rooms and delicious breakfasts. The staff were lovely and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Portsmouth. more
