This was our second visit and we have come to love Windy Ridge. The food was excellent and John and Jean went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Very bad service. Couldn't relax because they often say "I don't know" and "you have to tell me..." Had to find the switch in the dark to work the steep and narrow stairs. The room is reasonably clean but the bottles of shampoo and conditioner are covered by salt like dust. Yes, you can recycle but should make sure for... more
Holiday Inn Express Folkestone Channel Tunnel

We were forced to stay the night at this holiday inn after spending 8hours in a queue on the motorway. The price you pay for the holiday inn - 99 pounds - is not worth it. We got a twin room next to a boiler which went off all night. Breakfast was ok in the morning, but no hot option. more
