I've only been once after years of overlooking it because of its name and lack of dim sum. However, on closer inspection, I noted that it was full of Chinese people and that the prices of their set dinners were very reasonable. Nice range of vegetarian options - I really enjoyed their beancurd and sweetcorn soup. Those roast ducks hanging... more

i stayed at the Vermont with my son who has a part in a film which is being shot in Newcastle, bearing in mind i was travelling alone with a young child i have to say from begining to end we were look after and made to feel comfortable secure.
