Hotel is near the very nice village of Peebles and only 45 minutes (on a good run) from Edinburgh so its nice and handy. Building is actually quite new but, in a positive way, looks and feels older and more traditional than it is. Whitie's is a fabulous, cozy, comfortable, laid-back residence with superb accommodations. The building is a bookshop, newsagent and converted family home into the B&B.
