I stayed here for a long weekend with my husband in early May. It was fantastic, location was so central, we walked everywhere. Hotel was spotless, staff very helpful, view amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing for a wonderful stay in Edinburgh. more

The Castle Rock Hostel is by far my favorite hostel. What made if for me was the friendly, helpful and accomodating staff, the fun decorative atmosphere and the diverse people who stayed there. I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a private room because the rooms are quite large... I think the room we were in accommodated 14.... more
