We stayed in the cottages in November and in December. They are perfect, clean, relaxed, and nice gardens. We went to visit our sons for Christmas. I cannot praise these cottages enough. I stayed here for 5 weeks with 2 other colleagues whilst working in Edinburgh and therefore had time to get the feel of the hotel and staff. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The restaurant had a supurb menu and the quality of the food was excellent. The bar was a friendly and [ at weekends] lively place to be.... more
