Stayed for an extended day as we attended a family funeral in a local village. We arrived on the 06.30 ferry and were welcomed into the B&B by the owner (by prior arrangement). We had an early morning breakfast and were allowed the use of the room for the whole day so we could change and prepare for the funeral.... more

I recently stayed in the Danby Lodge hotel for a family wedding. It was very reasonably priced and the staff were superb. The service we received during our meal was fantastic and everyone enjoyed the food (and they even brought seconds! but we were stuffed from the first dinner!)
