My husband and I stayed 2 nights at this hotel during our recent 5 week holiday in France. I booked directly over the internet (we live in New Zealand). The hotel was everything we expected and more, in fact it was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip, and we stayed in more than 20. The surroundings were... more

We are a family of four and we stayed at this hotel late june for one night. The hotel is centrally located in Rocamadour. Our room was not in the main building but it was just beside and our room was nice and clean. The dinner was really good , specially the FOIE GRAS. At the end of the dinner,... more

The hotel isn't as flash as their web photos indicate but it is a very nice place to stay for one or two nights. It is located on the top of the valley and overlooks the old city on the other side. To enjoy the gorgeous view, book a room with a view to the old city. It costs extra... more

52 euros. Hotel has some great antique furniture. Small but clean traditional French decorated room [eg each spare inch of room covered in garish wallpaper!]. All rooms gradually being upgraded. WiFi available. Very friendly English owner who also owns the restaurant opposite, where her French husband is the chef. Busy restaurant which seems to cater for coach trips – so... more

58 euros per night. Free car parking. Very large clean room, but hotel has a tired and faded air circa 1970s. Friendly staff. Evening meal awful! Good views of Rocamadour but probably better to stay on the lower level where parking can be a bit of a challenge but some of the hotels offer free car parking [just don’t have... more

We really loved this hotel. The restaurant over looking the valley was wonderful great service with plenty of choice. It is not the cheapest place in town to eat but the food is wonderful & the view priceless. Very clean rooms well kept with attention to detail, happy helpful staff..The area itself is a tourist zone but very well worth... more

Stayed over one just night but wished it had been longer. Very modern hotel with ground floor patios onto a pleasant garden. Roomy and clean, but the 'wet room' does nothing for me: water everywhere! Also the toilet had no pedestal but was bolted into the wall. That's not reassuring as you hear it creek and groan as you sit... more

We stayed two days and were really impressed with this hotel. It offered modern almost hip accomodation in a family run setting. We have not stayed in such a relaxing hotel for a long time. We will definitely go back. more

The setting is lovely, the rooms are lovely, the hotel (a former barn) is lovely...After driving through the pouring rain from Cordes sur Ciel, we were happy to collapse in our spacious room. Christine , the owner, directed us to a bistro in Rocamadour where we had a light supper and, when the clouds parted, looked over at the medieval... more

We arrived at the Beau Site on spec, not having done any research on hotels in Rocamadour, but choosing the one which had the most stars and was open! We were very pleasantly surprised - the receptionist was most helpful and let me look at the room before committing to it. She originally offered a choice of rooms with bath,... more

We stayed in this hotel for three nights in August 07. The location of the hotel is certainly dramatic, and one of the reasons we selected it. The views from the back of the hotel (including pool, dining room and many of the bedrooms) are simply superb - a breathtaking vista dotted with chateaux, and to the right the village... more

Everything positive that has been written about this hotel is true. It was probably the best place I stayed during my month driving trip around France - taking into consideration the price, quality, and service. It was glorious to have such a good nights sleep. I could have stayed here for weeks! more

I am a tour operator and every fall I bring small groups of Americans to this wonderful bed and breakfast. Every year my customers rave over this idyllic country inn and the wonderful couple who run it, Christine and Eric Jooris. We always receive an incredibly warm welcome with a welcome cocktail, and we are shown to our beautifully decorated... more

We stayed in this hotel in early October for one night. We were traveling through France with no real plans and decided to go to Rocamadour after reading reviews. We arrived late in the afternoon and were concerned with finding a room. Although there appeared to be many hotels in the area we wanted to stay within the medieval city.... more

What a different experience we had than the others who reviewed before me. This small property was the perfect place to begin our tour of the Dordogne. We stayed in the turret suite on the second floor and it was beatifully decorated - all neutrals and fabrics and textures. A nice modern twist on a very old room. The views... more

Stayed here as part of a Crusader package tour. Bedrooms very good; clean and comfortable. However the main hotel building only houses the bedrooms and lobby it seems. No facilities for a drink of cup of anything. The restaurant is a walk away as is the bar and cafe. This was the main bone of contention, Not good if the... more

The nicest place I stayed in France. The place is simply great. The proprietors are the hardest working, sweetest, and eager to please in the hotel business. The hotel is a great change from the norm. This is a modern, chic hotel set on a beautiful property, that feels just right. It's location is perfect, and makes a great base... more

At times, this hotel is stated as being in Rocamadour whereas it is actually in the quaint town of Loubressac, in the same region. My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of a first-class bus tour of rural France. Although the hotel itself is more than acceptable for a first-class tour, one must be... more
