I know it's IBIS and you get what you pay for but those so called cheap European hotels are not that cheap after all ! It's true that rooms have been refurbished with tiny, flat TV screens. I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. On arrival it looks quite nice, and it's not far from Dunkerque port, 20mins drive. However it is a long way from the town itself. Traveling over the sea by ferry crossing is the best option if one is looking to visiting France from UK. I opted for it because it is lot more fun than traveling by plane.
