Anthony was a fabulous, gracious, patient host (even with 2 young children with us). The guesthouse is beautiful and well-situated with a 15 minute walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to the tapestry, cathedral, and downtown Bayeux. The grounds were gorgeous and relaxing. I would love to come back to Bayeux and would definitely stay here... more

i stayed at Tardif last November with a group of work colleagues during 3 nights. And that was exactly the kind of establishment we needed. A perfect combination of antics & modern comfort. My husband and I stayed at the Hotel d'Argouges early in December for (sadly) just one night, and had a great experience. The room was spacious and quite lovely (especially having come from a cramped Paris hotel!) The bathroom was likewise roomy. There is no shower, but the bathtub sufficed just fine, and that is not unusual for European hotels... more
