It took us well over an hour driving around Munster town centre to find the hotel. Directions published online were not helpful, nor was the hotel receptionist when we rang to ask them for help. We stayed at this hotel near the train station because we were visiting family we didn't want to burden with our stay there. It was a nice hotel with a friendly atmosphere, despite being in very close proximity to the (not very charming) Hauptbahnhof (train station). Muenster's oldest restaurant. It was around since 1607 before peace of Westphalia (the German region Muenster is part of). They had a staff member dress up as a peace rider and visit tables. Best potato soup ever - it had sauerkraut in it! Good food and good times. more
