Excellent location: blocks from the port and beaches and down-town. Excellent real-estate, brand new (opened June 2009) Ample and beautiful rooms. Excellent break-fast. Plus all-day open restaurant. Strangely I found better value (if not nicer) accomodation in Madrid than in Gijon. The location is on the edge and therefore within walking distance of the 'old city' and near the habour though I got no view of it from my room!
