This is a Basque classic Hotel right on the ocean. The building is 16th Century, but the interior is elegant and modern, updated with beautiful wood flooring and walkout doors to a terrace overlooking the ocean and along the wide coastline. You can stay at the Abba Londres y de Inglaterra or Maria Christina, but you will not get better or friendlier service than at the Pension Bellas Artes. Owner Leire, her mother and assistant Christina made our first-time stay in San Sebastian a special one. It was was if we were staying with family, not in a hotel or guesthouse.... more
