Caceres Old Town

If you are going to Caceres it can easily be done in a day. And, then you will want to go to Merida. I was in Caceres in September and it was well worth the trip. Easiest way to get there is by bus. If you would like to see my fotos let me know. I plan to go back. more

I can't disagree with Marieolive - the Palacete Alameda is fiendishly difficult to find. This is not the fault of the hotel; approaching the city from the north, the signs for the Ciudad Monumental had me driving in circles for some time.
