We stayed in the Cannon Hotel for a few days before moving onto a self-catering apartment. I have to say that as a hotel that is clearly the cheapest in Gibraltar it far exceeded our expectations. We have been going to the Caleta Hotel for many years and we have seen many changes and a great deal of improvement. We held our wedding reception in Nunos just after it opened in 2000. One of the worst. dirty ie. toenail clippings on tiny bathroom carpet. Mini bar rusty and empty. Only good point cheap beer and food, though We didn't try the food. Beds Hard and uncomfortable. This hotel needs a complete refurb. . more
