We arrived in Amalfi in early December and, with many of the hotels closed, asked the tourist office for recommendations. They suggested the Luna Convente and La Bussola. The hotel had very low occupancy when we visited, and we were able to get a prime room with great views of town, just a short (downhill) walk along the coastal highway.
