very very very disappointed by the decor, food, service, staff, 1970's rooms, smelly blankets, old bathrooms, long walk to the ski lifts and general [--] level of accommodation. The food was grim, we had to send our food back on several occasions as it was inedible, the breakfast was just disgusting. Four star!!! I do not think so barely one... more

We have just had a week skiing in Sauze D'Oulx, staying at the hotel splendid. There are a few points to raise. I will be focusing on the kids theme. Back from Christmas 2009 week skiing in San Sicario, fantastic time had by all the party. The hotel is brilliant, very clean with shower/bath in en-suite, also had fridge in room.
