I was told this was the oldest (continuously operating) restaurant in bolzano (and was many, many centuries old). It is a delightful biergarden, with great South Tyrolean "bar food". This is probably one of the most recommended restaurants in Bolzano. It is in a lovely old building in the old town and has lots of "typicaly" south tyrolean dishes as well as a few Italian ones. I was in Bolzano for many weeks so visited a few times (with a variety of colleagues). It probably is worth a visit.... more
