Great location near shops and restaurants at Claraplatz and tramstop just around the corner but it is approx a 15 minute walk into Central Basel. My room was ready despite arriving before 2pm. Initial room given hadn't been cleaned, but front desk moved me to a different room giving me a complementary drink voucher, and followed up with a phone call to make sure new room was okay.
