Family run hotel with terrific view over the lovely town of Zermatt which is dominated by the magnificent Matterhorn. As other reviewers have noted, unless you are fairly fit the walk up the hill from town, particularly if you a pulling you luggage along, can be a bit taxing. The Staff are extremely helpfull! Arrived with 10 Family Members, and they showed us to a lunch room, where we filled in our forms over Lunch. They helped greatly with all our lugage and ski's. This hotel is one on my all time BEST BUY list. I consider it to be a mid ranked hotel, 3 out of 5 stars. Hotel is mid priced in a high priced market.
