I was very impressed. I can't judge the location - arrived in the dark, left in the dark. Seems like Haarlem is a pretty town but I presume you only stay here if it is convenient. However, the hotel is probably the best €100 room I have ever had. Stylish, well-equipped, with a comfortable bed. Good breakfast. Couldn't work out... more

We just spent 13 nights at the Joops Hotel, the annex of the Ambassador hotel around the corner-We had a HUGE room with a HUGE bathroom with a very large tub!(Villeroy and Boch, too!(the BEST!).As it was cold, windy, and rainy for the entire 13 days we were there(it even hailed!), we truly appreciated this warm, large, yet cozy room.... more

Me and my wife visited the Sauna van Egmond in June 2009 and found it a fabulous place and a great relaxing experience. The nudity was a bit akward at first but after a while we found ourselves in conversation with some of the other visitors. The mix of visitors ranged from young and older couples to groups of girls... more
