From September 8 to 22 we stayed at Faial and Pico. We stayed in Vila Belgica, located in the quiet hills of Horta, with a magnificent view of Pico (volcano and island), especially movement from the beautiful terrace. I have been to Canto da Doca on several trips to the Faial. It is a "must visit". You select beef, swordfish, calamari or a combination of all three. It arrives raw, and you cook it to your liking.
