Best restaurant in São Miguel, exelent wine menu, nice employes and above all, fantastic food... I recomend octopus, squids, lapas or tuna fish; The meat is also tasty and the deserts... Yammy. We last stayed at this hotel in 1994 when tourism was in in it's infancy for the Azores. The hotel is beautifully placed next to the magical botanical gardens of Furnas which was very much a one horse town in those days. At that time the hotel was quiet and friendly we had a room overlooking the gardens. The scenery... more
