We are accustomed to staying in very cheap hotels (like Travelodges at £19 a night!) and so were really looking forward to discovering what a hotel costing over £150 would be like. What a disappointment! The room was really cramped and we had what must be the ugliest view on earth from our window -- a view of what appeared... more

Can old trains really be fun? I must admit my expectations were on the lower side of the scale, but I'm glad that I gave The Swedish Railway Museum a chance! It was very interesting to see and actually be able to climb on to engines and waggons all the way from the mid 19th century and up til today.... more
