“Satisfactory hotel but with a poor restaurant”

Our room was located in the newer extension to the hotel, but the entrance was totally separate. There was no lift so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs to the first floor. We had really mixed feelings about the property, as outlined below: Location: Amazing. Really, truly, one of the top places we’ve stayed in terms of location, ranking right up there with Hapuku Lodge in New Zealand. We stayed here for one night during our trip around the country. By far, this was our favourite spot. The cabin was outfitted comfortably and accommodated two people quite nicely.
