We've just returned from an overnight stay at Walton Hall and I have to say that, even having read all the positive reviews beforehand, we were blown away by just how good the hotel and restaurant were. There was a wedding on when we arrived so we were a little nervous that we would feel as if we were gatecrashing... more

We stayed in the gatekeepers lodge, a little cottage in the hotel grounds and it was just fabulous! The bathroom was the gorgeous and very spacious, the bedrooms were luxurious and we had loads of space downstairs. The breakfast in the hotel was very good, plenty of choice and good hot selection. We were soooo sad to only be staying... more

What a fabulous location to celebrate a special birthday. From the moment we arrived to the day we left, the staff were excelllent in the service they proivded. The room was excellent and clean, so relaxing, with great views of the lake and hall. The food was mouth watering, and will be back. more
