An excellent venue for a leisure break. Hotel was full but never felt crowded. Standard Room clean, spacious and comfortable. Nice lunch taken in bar area, good dinner and breakfast. I stayed here with a friend. The room was lovely, our room had a river view. We walked round Dunkeld and Birnam then took a local bus to nearby Perth, which had lots to see and do. My wife and I stayed for three nights. Arrived late on Friday but did'nt bother with room service as sandwiches only after 21.30. We stayed in this hotel 17 and 15 years ago when it had a country house ambience, and although the lobby and public areas still have open fires it has somehow lost that ambience.
