We stayed here Fri 19 - Sun 21 September 2008, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful and Stelios in the Leftbank Restaurant was truly delightful. Having read other reviews, we were a bit apprehensive but can honestly say we never noitced any planes flying overhead, were oblivious to the M25 motorway, and found the staff... more

I recently stayed at the hotel and was surprised to see how good the service and location is.The staff were so friendly and my room was good size too overlooking the garden.I was attending my friends wedding and found this place to be so suitable that I am thinking of hosting mine here too.And the best part was that it... more

My son needed a place to stay at the very last minute and I phoned the owner at 7pm that night. she said she had a room but it was the most expensive. I said that was fine. We drove 60 miles and arrived at 9pm. Unfortunately when got there the owner had an emergency with her mother. We stayed in... more

I thought this was a highly professional operation. As a previous reviewer suggested, it does rather resemble a university campus from the front, though the landscaping around the vast car park does soften everything. It is clearly a successful venture, strategically positioned, and has a wide variety of guests: ordinary tourists a tiara throw from tacky Windsor; families keen to... more

We stayed for 4 nights with 3 children aged 2-10 and found this to be a really welcoming and relaxing hotel. The pool is a good size with a large, shallow kids bit and our older boys were delighted to be able to use the steam room/ jacuzzi/ sauna (allowed from aged 8!) The room was really big even with... more

This is a lovely hotel set in a romantic setting with beautiful gardens. The executive suite we stayed in was clean and quite spacious with a Bang and Olsen TV (although not widescreen). The staff were great and very helpful. The only downsides to this was the food although they have won awards for this but I feel its best... more

My wife and I wanted to treat our selves to a relaxing week end when checking the web sites Savill court hotel was the one we have chosen, at checking the receptionist was extremely courthouse, nice French accent. We stayed here for one night as part of a two day package at Legoland. The hotel was excellent, from the check-in to the departure. The rooms (we had 3) were very nicely decorated and clean throughout. The swimming pool and health spa area were very tastefully decorated and again very well kept and clean. The kids loved the pool.... more

We stayed at this hotel recently for a friends wedding. We had stayed here once before over a year ago and it wasn't great then. When we tried to book directly with the hotel we were told that they were fully booked, being heavily pregnant I didn't really want to have the hassle of finding and travelling to anywhere else,... more

I had to stay a night in Egham, Surrey, for business. From Heathrow T5 airport I went straight to this B&B lodge, which is pretty close even if there isn't any noise from the continuous airplanes passage. The only remark is related to the time of arrival, if it is on lunch or dinner time you have to insist ringing... more

We have just stayed 2 nights at the SAVILLE COURT to attend a wonderful wedding and while everything about the wedding was fantastic the hotel was less than perfect. CHECK-IN: Despite us arriving at 9.30 in the morning the hotel happily gave us our room. This was great as we wanted to drop off our stuff and go out to... more

We stayed at this hotel on Saturday 26th July. We were quite shocked at the initial apperance of the hotel from the exterior and I do agree from the other reviews written that it looks like a university halls. The first impressions of the hotel and staff once we were inside were good, we arrived very early but our rooms... more

Stayed 1 night 26.07.08. Room allocated was in the 'attic' with a small crittal window, over-looking the entrance to the hotel & was really quite small. It was very clean & tidy, with a small but pleasant bathroom (including bath & shower). Weather was very warm & subsequently the room was an oven. No air-conditioning in any of the rooms!... more

I visited this hotel on Sunday 6 July 2008 (Thought I'd be accurate for the active management responses of this hotel!) I stayed in Windsor at the Mercure Castle hotel for 2 nights but thought I'd check out the Runneymede hotel for the following weekend. I often find the best way to find out how good a hotel is to... more

My fiancee and I stayed at this hotel for our 2nd anniversary. As we arrived we were greeted by the exterior of what looked like a university hall of residence and not a hotel and spa. However we were warmly welcomed by the attentive staff and the interior was more like a country boutique hotel. Our room was fantastic, spacious... more

My girlfriend booked this trip for us for my birthday weekend - so I looked it up on here to see what we were in for....... then wished I hadn't. Visited Great Fosters with my wife for a wedding and was just blown away by the setting and gardens of this wonderful hotel. It reminded us off Hampton Court.
