Stayed for just the one night whilst visitng family. Our room (no2) was spotlessly clean once again, and I'd like to say that despite the freezing temperature outside, the hotel was really warm and cosy. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Wonderful hosts who saved us when we were caught out by the snow and had a room available! Room was lovely (note I'm in room 3 which the previous reviewer hated!) and just what we needed. Excellent value for money and highly recommended. more

This is an excellent B&B where we stayed for 2 nights at the end of walking a section of the Pennine Way. Very welcoming, excellent food and friendly service. The only slight negative was the limited menu in the local pub though the portions were v.generous. Thoroughly recommended more
