This hotel is perfectly placed for exploring Bowness on Windermere and Windermere. Our room was very comfortable, a little small but fine. The breakfast was nice. Parking is available. Our hosts were lovely, very friendly and welcoming. We hope to stay again one day. more

The White House Hotel

Lovely little b&b, ideally located to walk into Bowness. There is no parking but we were given a free pass to the local car park so that wasn't a problem at all. The room was on the small side but very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were delicious. A great little b&b, we will recommend it to anyone. more

We only had a short stay, one night, but we were made very welcome. The rooms were a good size, comfortable and had everything in it we needed and we even had a view of the lake.
