The castlle is like everything on the island well preserved and interesting. I personally visit at least once a year and prefer the leisurely walk around the outside of the walls where you can watch the basking sharks and sometimes the whales from the breakwater, close to the town for beer, queenies and kippers too and the adjacent hut on... more

In October 2009 me and my friends stay in this pub. I find the atmosphere of authentic pub, no trendy, no tawdry and fake. I dont are a expert of british food, but this fish&chips is the better we eat. Also other food is very well; the queenies whit garlic and bacon, the smoked salmon and the realy good kippers.... more

A warm welcome was received on arrival. We stayed in the Yellow Room with with mini fridge, tv/dvd,hairdryer and lots of other extras. Gorgeous food for breakfast and plenty of it. Nothing is too much bother for Nikki and Nigel to ensure that you enjoy your stay and they are always available to give advice on things to do and... more
