The house remains pretty much as it was, with most of the original furniture, and decor. The 2 sisters who saw out their final years here after the family fortune had beeen split so many ways, wanted it to remain as it had been their home. I was made to feel so welcome whilst staying at The Heathers. The room had everything I needed including a huge comfortable bed and a range of DVDs to watch as well as snacks and hot drink facilities. The breakfast was really nice and there was plenty of it!
