Stayed overnight as part of my husband's birthday celebartions. The hotel was quiet and as it was a special birthday we were given a room upgrade. The room was very large with a beautiful view over the neighbouring farmland. The bed was extremely comfortable. The only problem with the room was no tea and coffee-making facilities. We had the warmest of welcomes and nothing was too much trouble. The service support and care could not have been better and the room was lovely. When the weather was vile Mike and Joyce went to great lengths to look for interesting alternatives to our walking plans. A really superb stay: 100% recommendation. more
