We have eaten here every time we return to Lake Como, and have found the service very friendly, and the food well prepared. What a beautiful setting. The food is delicious too. I just love it here, but you do have to tolerate that you're a tourist and Il Gatto Nero look after the locals first. I think Villa d'Este is my favourite hotel in the world. We've been there twice, and were even more enchanted with it the second time.
