Had booked a short stay at this hotel for June 2009, which I then had to cancel a couple of month beforehand. My wife and I stayed at the Casale on our way to Tuscany. It is slightly off the beaten path but has many charms and is near several towns that visitors to Italy will love. The rooms are spacious and spotless with plenty of hot water. Take advantage of the available dinners. The cooking is wonderful as is the hospitality.... more
