OK – it’s an mid-market airport hotel in a miserable business park. There are thousands like it around the world. It’s just that this is a rather expensive and bad example of the category. 3 things wrong with it: - rooms stink of smoke. Apparantly the rooms (or the 2 I tried) are non-smoking. I had a one night layover -- arriving in Orly and departing from Charles de Gaulle the next day. Free shuttle from Orly was great! Runs frequently enough, the shuttle is nice, and the trip is short (~3-5 min). The place looks newly renovated and the room was nice, very spacious and modern -- looks just like the photo. This hotel was recommended after I missed my flight, easy to get to since this was a stop on the free airport shuttle route between the 2 Orly terminals. Got a good deal at the weekend rate even without a reservation (rate was almost half of what I paid in town), check in was very easy, my A-Club member number... more
